This is one of the best chocolate stouts I’ve had, very smooth, not overpowering, great aroma and nice easy finish. Will have again.

Pour was a dark brown, small head. Aroma was a hint of coffee but was mostly chocolate and molasses. Flavor was much the same. Mouthfeel was thiner then i expected from the aroma. Good beer.

Pours dark brown with brown head. Aroma of chocolate. Chocolate flavor backed up by booze. One and done with this guy.

Black, tan head. Nose is cocoa, roasty malt, marshmallow, astringent burnt malt. Flavor is very sharp roasty malt, woody dryness, aocoa, milk. Bitter cherry pit & cocoa finish - borderline tannic.

Bomber. Pours tar, tan head. Aroma is chocolate, pine, nuts, coffee. Flavor is smoky, chocolatey, malty, and bitter. On the oilier side and well blended. Not too sweet like some chocolate stouts can be.

bottle poured brown in color with a thin tan head. aroma has dark pit fruit, baking chocolate, and candy fruits. mouth feel is medium with low carbonation coming across at a porter level. flavor has a bitterness mingled in with brown malt, dark fruit, and some sweetness. the roast and chocolate pickup into the glass and it finishes thin with some bitterness.

Pours black with a decent beige head. Smell is sweet prunes/dark fruit and chocolate. Flavor is a semi-sweet chocolate with lots of dark fruit, nice dark chocolate bitterness in the finish, touch of hops as well. Thin on the mouthfeel. Not a bad stout, but not anywhere near my favorite either.
