20091016 12oz bottle from State Line. Clouded but bright bronze with short, lasting white head. It looks just as I would hope a DIPA to look. Aroma is sturdy with a yeasty doughnut dough maltiness and pleasant blend of floral and citrus hops as well as a light bubblegum note and vegetal notes. Full and creamy body with substantial heft and a lingering stickiness. Flavor is boozy and rich from front to middle, borderline barleywine, but finishing with a burst of citrus and prickly pine hops. More vegetal with temp as well as a peppery alcohol note. Good, but maybe not four bucks for twelve ounces good. I ended up with some weird numbers on this one.

Dec 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nice enough amber/orange with aromas of pine and the like. Flavor is that of an unbalanced IIPA... vegetable/medicinal hops, caramel malt, and a big dose of whatever. Not very impressive.

Nice looking beer with a mild dead vegetable/poor english hop taste. Thats it period. Wanna pay $3.79 for a it shoulda coulda been beer go for it. THIS Imo was a let down.

Dec 20, 2009 Light amber pour with off-white head. Aroma of piny hops, sweetness, malt. Flavor of piny hops, malt,. Leaves a nice aftertaste. A little syrupy, but not overpowering. In a good way, a tasty way. Some lacing.

Dec 12, 2009 Golden orange in colour with a thin white head, light lacing.
Aroma is very floral, quite hoppy and on the sweet side.
The flavour is extremely floral and very hoppy, some citrus, not overly balanced with lots of noticeable alcohol.
Warming alcoholic mouthfeel, large body, moderate carbonation.
Finishes long, floral and quite warm.
I prefer my IIPA more towards the citrus side than the floral. Its drinkable but I wanted more grapefruit dammit.

Dec 5, 2009 Pours a thick caramel color with a thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of pine, hops, and grapefruit. Super-hopped flavor with some carmel and grapefruit.

Dec 3, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dark orange color with a one finger white head. Left plenty of lacing on the side of the glass as the beer went. Aroma was grass, pine, spruce, and hops. Flavor was a hop explosion. Hops and more hops. Mild bitter aftertaste. Very good beer. A must try for hop lovers.

Nov 26, 2009 Taster at The Mondial de la biere09 in Montreal. The color is a hazy amber with a thin beige head. Th aroma is hoopy but not very strong. The taste is also of hops, pine fruits and to finish vegy. The bitterness was weak.

Nov 22, 2009 Grapefruity, piney, resinous. Good DIPA from arcadia finally. Mine was not as carbonated as I would have liked. Paid $3.50 for a 12 oz= a bit pricey. Worth a try, one of the better ones but too much $ with all the competition.
