Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA is a hazy amber ale with a dense, off-white head that has great lacing and retention. It has a piney aroma. It is medium bodied, soft and foamy, with a clean finish. It’s a little sweet, juicy, citrusy, resiny and piney. It has good balance. A great IPA!

Strong hops on the nose....citrusy grapefruit most prevalent. Hops present front to back in the flavor...grapefruit, piney resin....also a decent malt presence.

I was a little surprised I hadn’t had this beer already. Pours a copper color with a thin off white head. Big hop aroma of citrus and pine. Well balanced. I thought this was a very solid imperial IPA. Great flavor.

Draught at GABF 2008. Cloudy amber - white head. Milkes, grassy, wood, malty sweetness, caramel, citrus, light piney, boring.

Pours a deep copper with a faint white head. Aroma, well, there isn’t much aroma to speak of, just a bit of sweet Maris Otter and some Fuggles. Heavy mouth-feel with a taste of caramel and a slightly bitter finish. A very uncomplicated DIPA, disappointed for sure. Maybe I’ll try and review again in the future.

22 oz. bottle. Hopmouth pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma is big sticky sweet caramel malt, oranges, other citrus hoppiness. The flavor has a nice moderate sweetness, biscuity malt, orange citrus, with a general bitterness that lingers. There is a nice balance between the malt and the hops. On the thicker side of medium bodied. This is a decent although non spectacular DIPA.

Bomber courtesy of eaglefan538. Floral aroma on the nose. Copper body with creamy white head. Good citrus flavor, sugary sweetener and not as dry as most IIPA’s can be. Smooth on the palate good brew. Thanks Brian

Hazy copper pour with a frothy white head. Crystal malts on the nose. Medium bodied with sweet malts and spuce up front. Grapefruity/ piney finish, slightly resinous
