Apr 5, 2008 Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA on tap at The Gray Lodge Bar. The look is a nice off white head, ok lacing and a cloudy orange/amber color. The smell is very very hoppy! Citrusy and fruity hop smell, beautiful. The taste is thick hop flavor. Malty and sweet. Grapefruit and citrus aftertaste. It lingers on the tounge and in the back of your throat.

Apr 4, 2008 A cloudy almost amber color with a fluffy light tan head. Only a slight aroma of hops. Flavor is sweet and not very hoppy for a 2ipa. A lingering sweetness overrides the hops. Thanks to cbkschubert for this one.

Apr 3, 2008 Updated: May 23, 2008A hazy orange-brown with a modest off-white head. The aroma is the finest quality of this beer, its got a beautiful sweet fruit hoppiness, some floral notes to it as well. It could be a little stronger though. The flavor’s also hop-dominated, although not quite as bitter as I would have liked. Some malty sweetness there instead. Not as dry in the finish as it should be.

Apr 3, 2008 22 oz. bottle via trade with Linus_Stick - Pours a hazy amber color with a large two finger thick off white head that lasts. Thick layered lacing. Aroma is citrus and herbal hops and light toasted malt. Flavor is mostly hops but not overly bitter. Has a lingering astringent aftertaste. Medium to full body. A pretty good beer. Thanks Alan.

Apr 2, 2008 Pours copper with small white head. Aroma is caramel all the way. Flavor is sweet lots of caramel and just a sickly sweetness. Grapefruit and some citrus with a touch of pine but not big on hop flavor just a lot of resin and big caramel sweetness. Where are the hops?

Apr 2, 2008 Updated: Apr 3, 2008Bomber from acrdz. Pours a nice reddish copper color with a bubbly thin head and great lace. Aroma seems a little dulled. Perhaps a little oxidized, but I get notes of grapefruit, citrus, and some floral hops with some moderately sweet caramel malts and lots of alcohol at 8.1%. Not a bitter hop bomb, but pleasantly fruity with only some toasty balancing malt. Flavors of grapefruit, orange, and lighter sweet/tart fruit, and floral/piney hops. A nice soft bitterness citrus rind flavor lingers on the palate. Alcohol is barely detectable on the palate. Nicely drinkable.

Mar 23, 2008 candy citrus and very busy grapefruit hop number with a slick and fully sweet and caramel malt type enhancement. strikes you first as a one dimensional power ipa. but then you notice the candy dimension that is quite pleasurable. good thing the alcohol is not too strong because the drinkability could knock you out with company to occupy you. pineapple flavors and yes it is lush. don’t miss it. very good balance. hyper foamy head just try to pour six ounces in a glass!
