Commercial Description:
The first in our Brew Crew Big Beer Series, Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA should be finding its way to a store near you. Huge Maris Otter malt and a generous amount of fresh hops combine to make this extremely balanced ale remarkable.

Orange/Brown ale with slim to no head. Taste like a standard IPA. No hints of this and that. Good beer.

Another bottle from Daniel that I have wanted to try for a while. Not sure how old this bottle is, but it was past prime (hopefully). The hops had subsided leaving only the sticky sweet sense of what once was probably a really good double IPA. Looks like creek water, but thank God it smells better. Taste has some hoppiness to it...with a little bit of pine and grass flavor as well. Good beer, not the best, but good enough to drink. Probably much better fresher.

Bottle @ thewolf tasting.
[thank you, Yngwie]
Pours a light hazy red amber with a great, yet small, creamy off-white head. Aroma has fruity hops, lots of grapefruit and pine. Behind that, there is a good malty caramel backing. Wonderful creamy and semi-dry mouthfeel. Flavour is hoppy (surprise?), quite balanced, though still a bit one-sided.

I let this one age too long. lost alot of its hoppiness that i love so much in IIPAs. Pours out a nice amber color with a small head. aroma was grassy and hoppy. finish was simply lacking a hop smack. oh well.

Cloudy amber colour with an off white head. Malty, fruity and light floral aroma with hoppy fruity notes. Malty, fruity flavor with a vague buttery note. Hoppy, pine bitter finish.

Bottle. Pour is cloudy ambe with a medium beige looking head. Aromas of dark fruits, tea, sweet malt. Very malty for IIPA, more dark fruits, some resin. Slight bitter finish with a fruit peel taste. Thick, heavy mouthfeel. Not great, not bad, I wouldn’t seek this out again.

[WBA styles tasting] Catty, pine aroma. Not really great of a hop aroma. Soapy. Flavors are harsh and bitter, with some cheesy, old hop flavor. Slightly sour. Mouthcoating diacetyl.

22 oz bottle. Pours orange/copper with a massive 3 cm head that is foamy and off-white. Aroma of hops and dark fruits. Initial flavor is balanced between hops and malts, citrus and bread are what I get from this one. Ends more hoppy with a hint of alcohol. Lots of lacing, light carbonation, medium body, and alcohol noted. Very drinkable and moderately intense for a double IPA.
