2007 bottle...Rich copper color-creamy tan head...this is my second attempt of this beer....aroma---malt and orange peel, some lemon...taste---would you like some copper with that IPA?...penny for your thoughts....every now and again I get a whiff of sour ass...medium-bodied...finish is sharp and bitter...tastes like grapefruit seeds...unbalanced...smells better than taste

Aroma is flowers and catnip. Clear amber hue, tan head, and good lace. Citrus flavor with bitter finish. A bit of a let down for sure.

A slightly hazed brown pour w/off white head. A hoppy aroma with a bit of abv coming through and not much malt. A very good bitter not much malt and slightly warm which I like. Good carbonation and mothfeel. Just a tiny bit thin. Overall a pretty good beer.

Sampled at the Newtown Brewfest 07 with Stegosaurus. Hazy amberish pour. Good hop aroma with a splash of grass/pine. Taste had mild hop not really blended the way I like it but it was a decent beer. Very drinkable.

Pours a deep hazy orange with a thin white head that never totally dissipates. Aroma is of piney hops and caramel. In the mouth, it starts with tea and pineapple, and then a rather hard astringency emerges. It finishes bitter.

A mellow brew, plenty of hop bite, but very mellow after it warms, some alcohol, but nothing bad with it, malt is there as well, a nice drinking brew, nothing bad about it, but somewhat subdued after it warms, decent.

Bottle via john_adam2002. Amber color. Smell of light hops, flowers, caramel, ginger, pepper, citrus, candy rasins, pine and malt. Taste of hops, pine, grass, malt, orange peal, clove, pepper, ginger ale, alcohol, caramel and cotton candy. A minor harsh aftertaste. Very interesting double IPA. A lot of spice going on in this one.
