Commercial Description:
The first in our Brew Crew Big Beer Series, Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA should be finding its way to a store near you. Huge Maris Otter malt and a generous amount of fresh hops combine to make this extremely balanced ale remarkable.

Metallic, golden-orange with some noticeable viscosity. Fresh hop aroma of Juicy Fruit gum, stonefruits and rosebuds. Flavor continues the estery hop theme, plus some orange-blossom honey, and light, cleansing citric tartness. Finish has some tannic, tea-like Maris Otter qualities and medium-high bitterness. Novel and interesting hybrid between a DIPA and barley wine. I dig it.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange and copper color. Tall, clinging tan head. Nose is moderately faint, but full of sugary and fruity scents, nice sweet fruit hop notes. Very sweet and fruity up front, full of sugary bubblegum and yeast flavors. Creamy texture, reminds me of Hopsickle actually, like some other west coast DIPAs. Has a moderate level of bitterness. Good stuff, but not exceptional. Crisp, fresh, lively on the tongue, sweet, but lacking the dynamic hop complexity that could take it to another level.

Orange-hued amber in color with a thick, lacing, off-white head that looks nicely creamy. Aroma has some road tar and strong, American hopping of citrus and pine. Flavor has all of the aroma components with a solid, sweet malt backbone, complimentary bitterness, and an enveloping vanilla.

Citrus sweetz aroma. amber beer with nice tight beige head. hoppy w slight weird malt. modest bitter finish. Is actualy even better a bit warmed up, really brings ou its aromatic property, sweetmeats, baked fruit breads.

On tap at Great Taste of the Midwest beer festival. Dark orange/light red color, off-white head. Smells strongly of grapefruits. Taste is bitter and piney, very refreshing on a hot August day.

Not too bad for an IPA but nothing I havent had before. It is smooth and drinkable but a little too thick for my taste. The hoppiness is overpowering and isn’t really as balanced as claimed. Slight sourness in aftertaste. Grapefruit flavor. Tried at the Union. Free sample from the brewing company. Tasted with Mike Murray

bottle. Holy head...off white. orange/amber hazy pour. very nice fresh hop, grapefruit and malt aroma. very alive on the palate. huge hops. grapefruit, hint of orange and pine. descent bitter finish. The fruit lingers just a bit too long. Very nice. Was expecting a little more body for a double but definately not weak.

A good looking cloudy orange-brown color with a thick creamy head. Slighty fruity, nutty, malty, vanilla. Good amount of hops in the flavour but not necessarily as noticeable in the aroma. Flavour is also less fruity than the aroma. Creamy consistency.
