| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Hazy copper-amber, tall pillowy manila head. The aroma is quite nice, very fruity, pears, apricots, pineapple, melom, all that jazz. The flavor is interesting, leans towards pineapple and melon hops with some lightly plasitc maltiness. More malty then I expected. The palate is medium with a nice lingering bitterness. Quite enjoyable. Drew (2407), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Mixed results with this one - first bottle was delicious; bright hops and a huge pear taste, medium thick malty body. Second try was way off, bitter but not fruity at all. illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours amber orange with a slight haze and a thick creamy off white head. Aroma of grapefruity hops, pine, and caramel syrup. Mouthfeel is slightly thin for a IIPA, but not bothersome. Now to the flavor, bitter hop and hairspray overpower the malt flavors. The hairspray flavors carry through to the finish, with some grapefruit and lemon struggling in the background. Could this be an old bottle? This is rather disappointing. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2006 Clear copper orange pour has a thin wispy white head. Sweet toasty sugary caramel malty aroma well-balanced with lots of piney spruce hops. Body starts sweet and malty with some earthy caramel notes and floral tasting hops with a slightly warming and lightly bittersweet finish. A decent IIPA. SoLan (1411), Orlando, Florida, USA

Solid brew. hophead75 (1952), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
