22oz bomber from blue max liquors minneapolis: uncaps with a huge aroma of fresh hops.. did they dry hop in the bottle? ;) flavor is surprisingly smooth for a double IPA but very tasty, not at all overly aggressive. pleasant and long lasting taste of hops on the palate. definitely a brew to try.

Hazy copper-amber, tall pillowy manila head. The aroma is quite nice, very fruity, pears, apricots, pineapple, melom, all that jazz. The flavor is interesting, leans towards pineapple and melon hops with some lightly plasitc maltiness. More malty then I expected. The palate is medium with a nice lingering bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

Mixed results with this one - first bottle was delicious; bright hops and a huge pear taste, medium thick malty body. Second try was way off, bitter but not fruity at all.

Bottle. Pours amber orange with a slight haze and a thick creamy off white head. Aroma of grapefruity hops, pine, and caramel syrup. Mouthfeel is slightly thin for a IIPA, but not bothersome. Now to the flavor, bitter hop and hairspray overpower the malt flavors. The hairspray flavors carry through to the finish, with some grapefruit and lemon struggling in the background. Could this be an old bottle? This is rather disappointing.

Clear copper orange pour has a thin wispy white head. Sweet toasty sugary caramel malty aroma well-balanced with lots of piney spruce hops. Body starts sweet and malty with some earthy caramel notes and floral tasting hops with a slightly warming and lightly bittersweet finish. A decent IIPA.

Hazy amber topped by a nicely dense light tan head. Nose is all hops: venom, pine resin, grapefruit rind, sharp flowers, subtle soap and malt. Flavor adds some sun block and softly sweet malt. Medium/full balanced body. Solid brew.

hazy orange, small to medium off white head. Aroma is a medium amount of hops, grapefruit, slightly earthy, piney. Taste is the same, with a good amount of malt and sweetness to balance, lasting bitter finish.

Pours a hazy orange amber with a medium off white bubbly yet creamy head that left some lacing a dimished yet sustained a small head. Aroma of pine, caramel malt, grapefruit and earthy. Flavor of grapefruit, orange, lots of pine, caramel, nuts, very chewy hop feel.
