Jul 20, 2006 Pours a cloudy orange with a thick lasting head that looks like a half pint of milk with a shot of dr.pepper in it (which really is kind of tasty). Mint aroma with the prerequisite pine, and grass notes. Dusty taste. Pine and grass flavor that is muted with a pepto bismol flavor that while not unpleasant is unwelcome here. Finish is alcohol and paper with dry grass. I’ve sat here for a while trying to put more words to this, but they are not needed. While not unpleasant this beer is unremarkable.

Jan 28, 2006 Thanks to kms399 for this guy. Dark goldpour with an awesome white head. Sweet, candylike nose. Odd. Citrusy hop flavor, but with earthy undertones. VERY interesting!

Sep 22, 2008 This light amber beer poured with a decent beige head and a hoppy aroma. There is a creamy caramel malt flavor and the hopping was beautifully done, resulting in a balanced tasty brew.

Aug 29, 2007 Deep amber pour, looks nice and thick, under a low head that settles a bit soapy. Pure grapefruit aroma. Nice. ABV well-hidden... almost TOO well. Hops are not overdone yet they are certainly sincere in their presence. Fully sessionable for a higher-alcohol beer. Dangerous. They had just put this one on halfway through our lunch, and boy was I happy.

Jul 18, 2006 Hazy copper-amber, tall pillowy manila head. The aroma is quite nice, very fruity, pears, apricots, pineapple, melom, all that jazz. The flavor is interesting, leans towards pineapple and melon hops with some lightly plasitc maltiness. More malty then I expected. The palate is medium with a nice lingering bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

Mar 17, 2007 On draft at Capones. Pours amber with a decent sized white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and hops. The flavor is pine, bitter, smooth, citrus. Good brew.

Feb 23, 2006 Big Pacific Northwest hop aroma. Nice IPA orange pour...releasing even more pine and grapefruit scents. Nice caramel/toffee base...not enough to support the title of Imperial IPA, though. And the big bitter highlights, while enjoyable, are also more suited to a normal American IPA, I think. The IBU’s clock in at around 76 or so. But very well done, and I’d drink these all day long if given the chance.
