Draft @ Arcadia. Pours a brownish color with a slight off white head. nose is very sweet and caramel, with a backround of hopps. taste is mostly sweet with hops floating in the shadows and popping up every so often to say Hi! Finishes with a very smooth mouthfeel and a good bitter ending.

22oz bottle. Opaque orange-brown color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of mellow, fruity hops with orange and apricot, and a fat malt sweetness. Malty caramel flavor, with light biscuit, and fruity hop flavor. Pretty light on the bitterness, but shows some floral snap in the finish. medium-full body with tight carbonation. Really tame and balanced DIPA. Pleasing aroma, but definitely leaves the hophead wanting.

Clear amber body with a fluffy, off-white layer of foam. An interesting nose of pine, caramel, warming alcohol, whole grains and a light toasted element. It’s definitely hoppy but with loads of sweet malt laying underneath. The body is robust and full with a nice heft and lively carbonation. Once in the mouth, things start sweet with malt, caramel and and grains. In the end, the warming alcohol and bitter hops combine to have nice finish. It’s not my favorite Double IPA, but it’s reasonably enjoyable and reminds me of Molyan’s offering.

22 oz bottle. Clear golden color with a beige soapy head. Aroma is a little cat piss, hops, citrus, grapefruit, and carmel. Light body carmel, hop resin, grapefruit, some bitterness, meh.

Like their IPA, i found this beer uninspiring, and a tad boring, and under flavored for the style. The hops are there, but just now what i expect in a DIPA, and its pretty one dimensional with a lack of malt. Not a bad beer, just not great, and i dont see myself having it again.

22 oz bomber. Pours a golden orange color with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is floral with rose and perfume overtones. Taste is perfumy hoppy, with hints of pine. Not bad, but the perfume taste gets to you after a while.

Bottle, from trade with JCW. Good nose, soft & sweet. Orangy, pine, biscuit?. Litely hazy brownish orange, big head that slowly faded to a cover, nice lacing. Bittersweet flavor. Citrus, mainly grapefruit. Kind of grassy too. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, little flat, bitterdry finish. Good, but bitterness was narrow, if that makes sense to you.You got a hint of the citrus, but seemed muted to me. Maybe it’s the ringwood that I’ve seen some people comment on, but I can never tell that kind of thing. Thanks JCW

Probably my least favorite DIPA of those I’ve tried, but a pretty good beer. Methinks I sense some diacetyl, which shouldn’t be happening in this style!
