Hazy amber topped by a nicely dense light tan head. Nose is all hops: venom, pine resin, grapefruit rind, sharp flowers, subtle soap and malt. Flavor adds some sun block and softly sweet malt. Medium/full balanced body. Solid brew.

Bottle. Aroma of straight up rich caramel malt with more and more grapefruit notes wending their way in. Flavor again highlights the rich, sweet malt at first with the same grapefruit and increasing bitterness building at the finish and throughout the glass. Rich mouthfeel. Nice, well-balanced DIPA, just don’t expect a hop bomb.

Tap @ brewpub. Dark copper colour, small white head. Aroma of pine hops and caramel malts. Flavour of flowery hops. Bitter finish.

22 oz bomber. Pretty hazy amber color. Heavy notes of citrus on the nose; especially grapefruit. Slightly musty as it warms. Very creamy on the palate. Floral, dry, notes of orange rind. Only mildy hoppy initially. All leads to a fairly hoppy finish. It gets longer as the beer warms.

Very dark reddish amber color. Bathroom aromas for sure. A lot of urinal with a bit of citrus fruit. Tastes of scotch at first, heavy on caramel malt and alcohol. Citrusy sweet, juicy and lively. Bitterness arrives eventually but only after I’ve had a few bites of my salty blackened salmon.

Slightly hazy copper color. Creamy soapy head. Aroma has strong pine + flowers, some Pez and grapefruit. Very bright and flowery with some brown sugar. Juicey citrus flavor... some nice malt to sweeten it. Pretty good beer. I like the hop character.

standard IPA/IIPA color, orange/copper is what it seems like to me. head is tan, and with stiff peaks like beaten egg whites. aroma is quite caramelly, with plenty of citrus. flavor is slight alcohol, lots of grapefruit, earthiness with moderate bitterness. not bad, a little cookie cutter.
