Clear orange color with a red tint. Slight sweetness. The malt body comes first and gives way to a pleasant bitter hop finish with some orange and grapefruit in there. The taste it leaves in your mouth is very metallic and the only negative to this otherwise subtle and pleasant drink. drfabulous (1269), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Cereal malt aroma with some citrus hops. Sour orange flavor up front with a ton of malt and a bitter grapefruit finish. A bit too malty, but not bad. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 5, 2009 A nice slightly opaque copper-orange hue, with a nice frothy white head that seemed to have nice retention and some lacing. Aroma had big pine notes, resinous indeed and a mild grapefruit note. Flavor was mostly pine like hops, some mellow caramel-like malts balanced it out but slightly. A crisp finish. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2007 A good solid beer. Nose of malts and floral hops. Wonderful crystal clear dark amber to copper body, small off white head that vanishes too quickly. Average to thin, dry and nutty mouth feel. Solid sweet malts, classic British hops, but then a surprising American pine and orange hoppy bitter finish. A good beer, and the combination of hops is interesting. waolsen (1223), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Holy head...off white. orange/amber hazy pour. very nice fresh hop, grapefruit and malt aroma. very alive on the palate. huge hops. grapefruit, hint of orange and pine. descent bitter finish. The fruit lingers just a bit too long. Very nice. Was expecting a little more body for a double but definately not weak.
