Poured a deeper copper color with a larged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and light caramel in the background. Tastes of pine (not as strong as the aroma), caramel, grapefruit, and oranges. Taste was better balanced than the aroma would have lead me to expect. Alcohol content well hidden. Nice lacing left on the glass. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is resin/citrus hops-some bitter. Taste is resin/citrus/earthy/citrus hops-some bitter, some caramel-medium malt backbone. Taste not quite up to aroma but does have the slightly slick, with the hops, mouth feel that fits an I2PA. OK/mild carbonation. Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 20, 2006 Hazy orange. The head is tight, off-white and slowly diminishing. Nicely supported spicy, citrusy, mostly sharp hops are offered in the nose. Rather harmonious flavour development, a most interesting malt bill approach, I’ve no idea what varieties were used, but they’re very well extracted, fruity and procure just the right cerealic touch. The bitterness remains restrained, cutting through the sweetness and ensuring refreshment rather than obscuring the senses. Medium bodied, cleansing carbonation. Very good IPA. hopscotch (5531), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2006 Bottle... Very hazy orange ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Malty, fruity nose with lots of freshly sliced grapefruit, pineapple, peach and dashes of evergreen and black tea. Hefty malt backbone with lots of hop bitterness for good balance. Flavors of grapefruit, toffee and apricot. Full-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. Lengthy, dry, grassy finish. A shout goes out to WBC for shipping me the bottle! Sweet toasty sugary caramel malty aroma well-balanced with lots of piney spruce hops. Body starts sweet and malty with some earthy caramel notes and floral tasting hops with a slightly warming and lightly bittersweet finish. A decent IIPA. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A ring of foam surrounds the veiled orange gown.
-A beauteous perfume of citrus, oranges, and flower petals seduces the nostrils.
-Muscular herbal, floral hoppiness expands into orangey fruitiness, a large flavor spectrum on the hoppy side.
-The lean mouthfeel is softly carbonated, and ends up easily drinkable for its size.
What if you dig deeper?
-The leafy, fresh hop bitterness grabs the tongue, and charms it.
-There is barely enough malty sweetness to balance, but somehow it is enough to provide a solid body on which the hops thrive.
-A fun hop fest for sure, and a quality offering from Arcadia.
