Very piney, some sweet caramel maltiness as well. Very smooth and easy to drink, hop are very muted, but they are there and do have a lingering effect on the tongue, very good. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

This one pours a hazy amber with a chunky monstrously large head. Nose is pine and grapefruit. Taste starts out hoppy and ends hoppy. Moves from a sweet orange to a bitter grapefruit and finishes with a resiny pine. High carbonation. WAY HIGH carbonation that almost ruins this beer. Subtract several points...Medium body. Good stuff that would be better if it was not over-carbonated. . 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 I let this one age too long. lost alot of its hoppiness that i love so much in IIPAs. Pours out a nice amber color with a small head. aroma was grassy and hoppy. finish was simply lacking a hop smack. oh well. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Cloudy light orange body. The head is off-white and slowly diminishing. Lacing left in its wake is thick and nicely webbed. Still, this beer looks sickly, the orange color certainly isn’t a pleasant shade. Semi-sweet aroma of sour grapefruit, orange rinds, light malts and a fruitbowl that’s been baking in the back porch sun all afternoon. Flavor is less sweet. Notes of more grapefruit and orange(now fresh tasting) are joined by grassiness, a thinned malt presence, caramel squares and some wood. Medium-light mouthfeel, with a nice balance between acidic hop resin and smooth malts. Finishes moderately dry and of reasonable length. Not bad, not impressive by any stretch though. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Mar 23, 2008 candy citrus and very busy grapefruit hop number with a slick and fully sweet and caramel malt type enhancement. strikes you first as a one dimensional power ipa. but then you notice the candy dimension that is quite pleasurable. good thing the alcohol is not too strong because the drinkability could knock you out with company to occupy you. pineapple flavors and yes it is lush. don’t miss it. very good balance. hyper foamy head just try to pour six ounces in a glass! Thanks to MKobes for this one? thought it was a Moylan’s by the looks of the label. bright orangey amber color, light tan head. floral hop aroma, floral hop flavor. a bit of pine needles. csbosox (1082), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2006 22oz bomber. Recently available in Mo. Copper color. Aroma is malty, spicy, citrus, and herbal. Taste, at first, is toffee, pine, tart/bitter earthiness, some unripe orange, with a moderate bitter finish that tastes mostly of tangerines, honey, and earthiness. Enjoyable, but not something I would buy again in a $5+ bomber. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2006 bomber courtesy of Styles. copper, orangey on the pour with a short lived off-white rocky head. aroma like I’m walking through a spruce forest. flavor is a mix of piney, grapefruity hops with some toasty caramel and earthy notes thrown in. palate is slightly oily and almost full. very enjoyable, but for an IIPA, it could have used more hops.
