| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2007 On tap at Arcadia and poured into a pint glass. This IIPA poured a hazy amber/orange color with a thin beige head that quickly faded away. The aroma of this beer was full of caramel and grapefruit notes. A good amount of hoppiness in the smell. The flavor was mostly citrus hops with a touch of caramel. The mouthfeel was a bit thin for a double. I was hoping for a little more of a resiny look on the sides of the glass. With that said, this is still a solid effort from Arcadia. rocbyter (923), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2007 Not as much hop bitterness as I would like from a Double IPA, but amazingly smooth and easy to drink. Head died quickly. Juelze (912), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 25, 2007 Pours out a deep orange color with fne particles floating about. Aroma is of resinous pine, citrus hops and light earthy malt. Taste is very similar with the alcohol well hidden. Not as crisp or bright as Bells Hopslam. Not bad, but not something I would buy again. danielcurtis81 (909), San Diego, California, USA

Served on tap at Arcadia Brewing Company. Appearance is golden brown with a thin off-white head. The flavors and aromas follow this nice sweet hop bouquets that is more earthy and piney then anything. Hop intensity is really nice and leads to a nice bitter and full mouth.
