Oct 7, 2007 22oz bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber in color with light brown head. Aroma spice and floral hops. Taste of grapefruit and citrus hops and with bitter after taste. Alcohol is well hidden.

May 24, 2008 Deep red-orange, cloudy, with a huge off-white head. Light, sweet nose, with touches of vanilla and walnuts. Flavor is fairly sweet, a bit astringent, quite bitter, with some touches of tobacco, almonds and walnuts.

Jun 17, 2007 On tap at Arcadia and poured into a pint glass. This IIPA poured a hazy amber/orange color with a thin beige head that quickly faded away. The aroma of this beer was full of caramel and grapefruit notes. A good amount of hoppiness in the smell. The flavor was mostly citrus hops with a touch of caramel. The mouthfeel was a bit thin for a double. I was hoping for a little more of a resiny look on the sides of the glass. With that said, this is still a solid effort from Arcadia.

Feb 13, 2007 Not as much hop bitterness as I would like from a Double IPA, but amazingly smooth and easy to drink. Head died quickly.

Dec 25, 2007 Pours out a deep orange color with fne particles floating about. Aroma is of resinous pine, citrus hops and light earthy malt. Taste is very similar with the alcohol well hidden. Not as crisp or bright as Bells Hopslam. Not bad, but not something I would buy again.

Served on tap at Arcadia Brewing Company. Appearance is golden brown with a thin off-white head. The flavors and aromas follow this nice sweet hop bouquets that is more earthy and piney then anything. Hop intensity is really nice and leads to a nice bitter and full mouth.

Dec 11, 2006 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper-orange, with a quickly diminshing off white head, some lacing. Aroma is light caramel, honey, brown sugar, citrus, pine. Flavor is pine, hops, grapefruit, sweet. Palate is medium with medium carbonation, bitter finish. Better than I expected.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottled. Pours a deep orange with an off white head. Aroma is strong thick and syrupy grape fruit, orange, and some light lemon. A tinge of sweetness as well lodged in there. Flavor is masterfully malty with a strong grape fruit flavor. The orange/lemon shine through but are still dominated. The finish is a sweeter citrus. Body is big and syrupy.
