bottle) lovely dark amber with moderate off-white head. Pine aroma jumps out. But the hops aren’t as obvious in the flavor, and it has a slightly soapy finish, overall easy drinking dipa.

Draft: Pours a dark bronze with a sizeable white head. Nose was big on the grapefruit with some additional notes of pine, peach and some light malts. Medium-full bodied...flavor is sharp and bitter, the citrus comes through nicely but their seems to be something missing. Not very resin-y or piney, the hoppy finish is almost earthy and seems to throw this thing out of whack.

Pretty much standard I2PA material, though not as intense as various others, and I2PAs are supposed to thrive on intensity. Lucky for this beer’s score, I’m not looking for great intensity right now.

Pours a hazy orange/amber with a full off-white head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt, honey and hop flowers. Big rich malt caramel sweetness with an assertive yet subdued hop citrus bitterness that is well balanced with the sweetness. This is really good, neither cloying nor too bitter. Just right, as Goldilocks would say. Alcohol not too evident; maybe a little warmth after the swallow.

Pours an orangish gold color with a small amount of lacing. Aroma is pine, and citrus fruits like pineapple. Taste is bitter and piney, a bit chewy, and finishes with a nutty malt taste. Decent.

Strong hops on the nose....citrusy grapefruit most prevalent. Hops present front to back in the flavor...grapefruit, piney resin....also a decent malt presence.

22 oz bottle into a Snifter glass (thanks to demitriustown!!!). Pours a heavy and hazy amber color with a bit of a brown tone to it. Aroma is very pleasantly balanced between hops and malt. Very Earthy flavor mixing a heavy bitter hops note, sweet malt, and sweet hoppy rushes from time to time. Tends to be quite fruity towards the finish which then trails off to a very nicely intense, but mild bitter note at the end. Definitely a solid double IPA.

Tap @ Oliver Twist. Typical hop aroma. The flavour is mild for a DIPA, although complex. Bitter grapefruit tones ballanced with sweetness.
