Aroma: Very aromatic, smelling of pine scented hops.
Appearance: Poured a cloudy orange color with a big frothy, long lasting head which left ample lacing throughout the entire glass.
Flavor: Sweet, malty, hoppy and delicious describe this Double IPA.
Palate: Nice mouthfeel for a big beer like this. Hides the alcohol well and has lots of hops in the finish.
Overall: I love this ale and will have to give it many more tries. It’s going to be a Hoppy Christmas in Hurley. New York!

On tap. Big hops are a bit of a suprise since you can not really smell them. Think syrup sweetness. some light citrus. Plesant.

Some breweries shouldn’t make IIPA...and I think arcadia may qualify. Pour was a swampy amber with a light brown head. Aroma was roasted malt and a bit of dirty hops. Flavor was an uninspiring interplay between weak hops and stinky sweet malts. Mouthfeel was siticky and oily.

Tap at the Blind Tiger. Poured a deep amber. This had a very nice and big floral hop nose. Nice hop flavor to it also, but a tad on the mild side, not quite a double to me compared to other double ipa’s, but a label or a mislabel? can’t make this a bad beer. The finish is where this beer really shines, it is firmly bitter.

Aroma of fruit salad, melons, peaches. Thin body with powerful piney hops bitterness and a resiny finish. Could use a bit more malt, tastes too thin.

on tap - union jacks, glenside pa medium gold in color - small but rock head. huge aromas of grapefruit - you can almost smell the hops from arms length. flavor is al about the hops - starting of chewy and resiny with lots of tart citrus flavors, developing into a fresh green hop flavor and ending with a punch of bitterness. another fine beer from arcadia!

pours light amber with nice head. aroma of citrus, grapefruit. taste was dominated by citrus. the mouthful was watery especially for a DIPA.

Bottle poured amber in color with a small head. Aroma was full of resinous hops, caramel malts and a touch of alcohol. The flavor had a good strong bitterness followed by a sweet malty finish.
