| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2007 This is a tasty beer. Abundant flowery hops in the aroma. Gold color and moderate carbonation. Some sweetness in the flavor from malt, but tons of hops, herbal, citrus, and bitter flavors. It left a good hop burn. beerbuzzmontreal (2935), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2007 Pours a hazy orangey amber color with a thin offwhite head. Good aroma of resinous, citrusy hops and malt. Good flavor of resinous, citrusy hops with malt, alcohol and a bitter finish. The body is light with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. This is a pleasant, well-balance double IPA. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2006 Pours a dark copper color with a thick and foamy ivory colored head. Really sticky lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Nice bitter character and medium body. Lots of hoppy pine and citrus flavor with an underlying sweetness of malt and toasted bread. Manages to stay thoroughly bitter and rounded at the same time. The finish is tart and hoppy and lasting. One of Arcadia’s best. 5000 (2900), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2006 Bottle: Dark amber, mahogany tint, moderate off-white foamy head, fairly nice lacing.   Odd spiced cake like aroma, slight alcohol and citrus, minor tea and tobacco leaf.   Smooth malty start, background of citrus rind, not overly bitter at all either.   Semi-sweet, finishing with citrus rind and tea leaf.   Fairly tasty, full bodied but average mouthfeel.   ABV is warming, but not very noticeable.   Not a top contender, but I did enjoy this one.   Fairly clean, and easy to drink.   Thanks SuIIy for the bottle!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Updated: Jun 22, 2007Partly glcoudy orange-copper body with a medium white head. Intense floral hops aroma (smells simcoe-ish). Taste was a bit of a letdown as it was unfortunately dominated by alcohol (at “only” 8.3%, that’s not good). Starts off with some nice caramelized malt flavours in a but is quickly taken over by the alcohol. Some tree bark. Medium bitterness. Good beer that could have been excellent if only the hops could have bee as intense in the taste as it was in the aroma. Ironic, the problem with this Hopmouth is that I didn’t feel much hop in my mouth. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Hearty hops flavour, malty backbone, some spice. Beautifully balanced, medium bodied, quite bitter. Terrific! Thanks HogTownHarry! after4ever (2851), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 13, 2006 Bomber. Thanks, Luiss! Pours a deep cloudy burnished copper with a tall, thick, bubbly off-white head. Big bitter nose of pine and resin and, alas, a confusing sour note that’s not far off of urine. Or maybe horseblanket and foot...perhaps a slight infection. Seems to blow away after it’s been in the glass a while. Assertive attack, but nothing unsettling by the standards of a DIPA: highish body, active carb, assertive flavors. The pine and resin carry throughout the palate right to the finish. But for the weird olfactory notes this would be a pretty solid DIPA on the pine side of the hop flavor spectrum. Ibrew2or3 (2848), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 6, 2007 22oz bomber poured out a brilliant clear copper with one inch frothy off white had. Decent lacing was left behind clinging to the glass. The aroma is tangy citrus hops with a pine hop sense just behind. There’s also a sweet malt aroma trying to break through the hoppy veil. The taste is big pine and grapefruit hop bitterness. A malty sweetness seems to be running mildly amuck beneath the bed of hop flavors. As the finish draws closer the pine and grapefruit hop bitterness grows. This is a tasty big hop brew that shows no sign of its ABV. It seems a tad thin for the style. Very tasty though.
