Sep 12, 2008 A big lasting brown foam covering an amber-reddish beer. THe is as it should big with american hops. This is also present in the taste toghether with some caramell. The bitterness is balanced for a double IPA. THere is residual sugars but they just balance the bitterness.

Jan 31, 2007 Pours a copper color with a nice head. Sweet hoppy aroma, that tastes like a sugar covered grapefruit. Nice balance, but not a DIPA

Nov 9, 2006 bottle (22oz) . . pours dark/cloudy amber with a light tan head . . aroma is pine, veggie, honey, citrus and sweet . . taste is obviously pine/hops, grapefruit, sweet, buttery, light bitterness/alcohol that fades with finish . . kinda thick . . nice beer

Feb 13, 2007 Not as much hop bitterness as I would like from a Double IPA, but amazingly smooth and easy to drink. Head died quickly.

Jan 27, 2007 Even though this is my favorite style, I have been playing the field lately. I am married to DIPA’s and the rest of the beers are mistresses. After coming back to the wife after countless trists, I see why I married her. Man is this a hoppy beer. Had the aroma been better it would have been well into the fours. The pour is a beautiful orange with a 2 finger head that just won’t quit hangin’ on. This may sound odd, but the aroma was ginger ale. The taste was all hops with a tad of malt at the end to let you know it’s hanging on. Chalk up another great beer for Arcadia!

Jun 10, 2007 Updated: Jun 17, 2007Bottle. Nice cloudy amber color with a thiick head. Surprising light hop flavor for a double IPA but still good. A damn good beer as beer goes, but compared to other DIPA’s a bit soft. I expected to get beat down in an alley by a gang of hops. Still I would drink it everyday. Happily.

May 22, 2008 love it!! The fresh hops are now joke in this beer, I compare drinking this beer to biting into a flower. It’s a very floral hopped beer, love it!! Great Success!!

Mar 2, 2008 Orange/Brown ale with slim to no head. Taste like a standard IPA. No hints of this and that. Good beer.
