Cloudy amber color, big creamy head. The aroma is fresh, hoppy, not impressive. Medium bodied, less than expected; some toffee flavor and correct bitterness, but not sweet enough fruity nor resiny. This bottle is almost one year old and strangely didn’t keep up gracefully.

cloudy amber color; creamy head. Reasonably good malt and fruity aroma, partially covered by some infection; also some sweat. Good body, good malty flavor, giving some fruitness, quite sweet, but spoiled as well by the infection. Should be tried again.

Beautiful hazy red amber color; creamy head. Strong hoppy aroma, very fruity (oranges), and with pine needles and pine resins. Medium body structure, less sweet than expected, with leading caramel flavor and a very strong bitterness (bitter orange fruitness and some resins). Good.

Pours an opaque caramel color with the tiniest head. A big citrus hop aroma that has a sweet side. Flavor is aggressive with a complex fruit profile. The fruit is both tart and sweet and that sweetness is what balances the more tart hops. Caramel is not significant. Warmer temp brings a peppery spice that adds a resonant quality to the beer. This is delightfully refreshing. I found this to be unique, flavorful, and interesting. In other words the essence of craft brewing.

Pronounced orangey hops aroma, piney as well, Cloudiest orange, pours a small custard head, some very pretty lace. Hearty hops flavour, malty backbone, some spice. Beautifully balanced, medium bodied, quite bitter. Terrific! Thanks HogTownHarry!

22oz bottle-purchased at Whole Foods in Brentwood, MO. pours dark orange with a fluffy whispy off-white head and good lacing to start. aroma of buttered hops-some english malt/diacytl/yeast here definately with american hops to add to the mix. Really tastes like a brittish IPA in the malt and yeast profile. the american hops all over this thing though somewhat like the C3 from free state. The little diacytl here actually works to the beers advantage. nice earthy and piney hops mix well with the dusty malt and yeast profile. I didnt think i would like this brew, but i actually do. pretty good brittish IIPA here!

This was purchased at the Caboose in Ashland. It is a wonderful IPA. The alcohol is perfect and the hops were a mouthful The citrus flavors and full body make for a pleasnat experience. The head was while with some lacing. I will look for this ale again. I enjoy the complex taste and higher alcohol of IPA. This IPA is good example why I enjoy the hoppier ales. It is a pleasure to enjoy anytime.

Hazy dark peach juice colored ale, thin white creamy head. Hopped up nose of candied mango and guava, touches of orange and florals, with soft underlying caramel and toffee notes. Tropical fruit and orange hop bitterness up front with hints of florals and sweet caramel rounding this off nicely. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying bitter finish. Good tasting brew, but not a standout...

Any first impressions?
-A ring of foam surrounds the veiled orange gown.
-A beauteous perfume of citrus, oranges, and flower petals seduces the nostrils.
-Muscular herbal, floral hoppiness expands into orangey fruitiness, a large flavor spectrum on the hoppy side.
-The lean mouthfeel is softly carbonated, and ends up easily drinkable for its size.

What if you dig deeper?
-The leafy, fresh hop bitterness grabs the tongue, and charms it.
-There is barely enough malty sweetness to balance, but somehow it is enough to provide a solid body on which the hops thrive.
-A fun hop fest for sure, and a quality offering from Arcadia.

Bottle; no date.

draught. orange body with a small white head. the aroma is great - full of pine hops and biscuit. this is very balanced for an IIPA with mellow leafy pine and some warm alcohol. soft bready undertones. good drinkability.
