Dec 25, 2007 Pours an orangish gold color with a small amount of lacing. Aroma is pine, and citrus fruits like pineapple. Taste is bitter and piney, a bit chewy, and finishes with a nutty malt taste. Decent.

Jul 19, 2007 22 oz. Bomber at Waldo Pizza in KCMO. Pour is a orange copper with a pretty solid medium head off-white head. Aroma was pine hops and quite a bit of malt as well. Taste is a nice blend of the hops and malt, with really nothing special standing out. A very solidly made DIPA, though not a hop bomb by any stretch of the imagination.

Apr 2, 2009 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Caramel color with nice lasting head and lace. Fresh hop piney soapy grapefruit aroma. Hop forward piney resiny orangey citrus flavor with ass-backward toasty malty sweet finish. The beer is balanced but backward. Still, not a bad effort, just not one of the real good ones (IMHO). I’m not sure who is looking for "huge Maris Otter" malt in their DIPA.

Sep 2, 2008 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber, small but firm head. Striking lychee aroma with a twist of lemon. Medium sweet with compact full body and somewhat clean mouthfeel. The initial lychee like hoppiness changes to pine needles over soap and perfume and gives a powerful bitterness.

Jul 18, 2006 Mixed results with this one - first bottle was delicious; bright hops and a huge pear taste, medium thick malty body. Second try was way off, bitter but not fruity at all.

Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. An orange brown color with a laced tan head. A malty and medicinal hop aroma with fruit (apricot, orange, and peach) and flowers. Malty rich but not thick. Fresh liquid hop flavors with orange, grapefruit, wood and flowers.

Sep 3, 2007 22 oz bottle -- Poured a rusty orange-red with a gigantic airy, rocky, bubbly head of white soapy foam. The aroma is dirty and earthy with a peppery tingle to the olfactory glands. The stinky chewy factor carries to the palate, with this beer being overly perfumey and otherwise light in character. Quite light bodied for a DIPA. (#3073, 9/3/2007)

slight diactyl in the flavor mixed with the caramel sweetness, long peppery bitter finish, the dyactyl eventually fades to leave the caramel sweetness and lots of hops behind
