Sep 2, 2008 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber, small but firm head. Striking lychee aroma with a twist of lemon. Medium sweet with compact full body and somewhat clean mouthfeel. The initial lychee like hoppiness changes to pine needles over soap and perfume and gives a powerful bitterness.

Jul 18, 2006 Mixed results with this one - first bottle was delicious; bright hops and a huge pear taste, medium thick malty body. Second try was way off, bitter but not fruity at all.

Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. An orange brown color with a laced tan head. A malty and medicinal hop aroma with fruit (apricot, orange, and peach) and flowers. Malty rich but not thick. Fresh liquid hop flavors with orange, grapefruit, wood and flowers.

Sep 3, 2007 22 oz bottle -- Poured a rusty orange-red with a gigantic airy, rocky, bubbly head of white soapy foam. The aroma is dirty and earthy with a peppery tingle to the olfactory glands. The stinky chewy factor carries to the palate, with this beer being overly perfumey and otherwise light in character. Quite light bodied for a DIPA. (#3073, 9/3/2007)

slight diactyl in the flavor mixed with the caramel sweetness, long peppery bitter finish, the dyactyl eventually fades to leave the caramel sweetness and lots of hops behind

Sep 12, 2006 Hazy dark amber with a thin off white head. Smooth hops and fur tree, caramel, less intense than the Simcoe. In mouth, a light malt and hops, with light refreshing menthol. Medium bodied, nice alcohol warmt in final. Nice. Enjoyed with the Mtl Crew Sept. 9, 2006.

Feb 6, 2006 Bottle, from trade with JCW. Good nose, soft & sweet. Orangy, pine, biscuit?. Litely hazy brownish orange, big head that slowly faded to a cover, nice lacing. Bittersweet flavor. Citrus, mainly grapefruit. Kind of grassy too. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, little flat, bitterdry finish. Good, but bitterness was narrow, if that makes sense to you.You got a hint of the citrus, but seemed muted to me. Maybe it’s the ringwood that I’ve seen some people comment on, but I can never tell that kind of thing. Thanks JCW

Mar 12, 2007 Dark Apricot Coloring with White Skin. Citrusy Hop Aroma. Nice Body..Notes of Citrus/Grapefruit..Piney... Big West Coast Hop Flavor...Very Drying At the End...with Citrus Notes Staying on the Tongue Till the Very End. A Nice Big Bad Hop Beer.
