Bottle, 65cl. Amber colour with a tan head. Floral aroma with notes of citrus & malt. Taste is hoppy. Medium bitterness, a little bit unbalanced.

Bottle via john_adam2002. Amber color. Smell of light hops, flowers, caramel, ginger, pepper, citrus, candy rasins, pine and malt. Taste of hops, pine, grass, malt, orange peal, clove, pepper, ginger ale, alcohol, caramel and cotton candy. A minor harsh aftertaste. Very interesting double IPA. A lot of spice going on in this one.

Draft. Hazy orange-honey color pour with a white head. Good lacing. This was served to me as a pint for $5... This is a decent IIPA, but there isn’t anything remarkable here. Just a standard East Coast style version. There is something, that I can’t quite put my finger on, that could make this beer better. Maybe it’s a bit more sweetness to coat the inside of the mouth to precede that hop bite. Still, not too shabby.

Pours copper/deep orange with a nice off white head. Aroma is hoppy and very nice. Taste is good but just a bit too tangy for me.

Tap @ Oliver Twist. Typical hop aroma. The flavour is mild for a DIPA, although complex. Bitter grapefruit tones ballanced with sweetness.

On tap at Map Room, Chicago. Kind of piney-- not as sweet hop tasting as 3F Dreadnaught or Bell’s Hopslam. Pretty good, but have had better.

Decent IIPA. Not great, not bad since it is an IIPA. Good scent and taste full of hops and some pine. There could be more pine notes and grapefruit in the taste.
