Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA on tap at The Gray Lodge Bar. The look is a nice off white head, ok lacing and a cloudy orange/amber color. The smell is very very hoppy! Citrusy and fruity hop smell, beautiful. The taste is thick hop flavor. Malty and sweet. Grapefruit and citrus aftertaste. It lingers on the tounge and in the back of your throat.

22 oz bottle. Pours orange/copper with a massive 3 cm head that is foamy and off-white. Aroma of hops and dark fruits. Initial flavor is balanced between hops and malts, citrus and bread are what I get from this one. Ends more hoppy with a hint of alcohol. Lots of lacing, light carbonation, medium body, and alcohol noted. Very drinkable and moderately intense for a double IPA.

This strong brew poured a deep, dark copper with a little thick head and stuck around awhile. It was heavily-bodied and smelled strongly of floral hops. The flavor was indeed a "hop-mouth" and was very strong. It’s got a crisp, bitter finish which is strong but not too harsh. Only it’s heavy keeps this one from being very drinkable. Definitly milk this one!

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #24 of 90. Tap at Arcadia, shared taster (hands down best taster offering I’ve ever had...a total of 9-3oz pours for $7.99). Pours a golden orange. Excellent use of malts and citrus hops in this one. ABV is not overpowering. Taste is excellent, with a great hop punch.

Burnt gold. Caked-on pearly foam retains beautifully. Attractive bouquet of pinewood, jellied toast, juniper berries, and mandarin oranges. Light note of butterscotch. Bottle conditioned - quite soft and full as a result. Poignant hop bitterness immediately commences and never releases its tight grip. Rather multidimensional, though, as softer citrus notes unite with a flurry of fruity esters to deepen the brashness. Significant hop-derived acidity unfortunately appears at the center, but an ample dose of juicy and husky malts dispense a hefty burst of toast and glazed sweetness. Bushy hop flavors dwindle as a firm edge of pinewood rises to ignite a cooling juniper effect. Rose petals permeate the impeccably attenuated finish before chalky Ringwood textures remind you of its English influence by gently scrubbing the tongue. Tightly woven aftertaste of candied peaches swirled with a delicate drop of butterscotch. A bit too acidic, yes, but the hop nose is delightfully polished and fragrant, and the malts are sound in stance. Gotta love it…an English- themed hop monster with a full-on American twist. Another keeper from the Ringwood artists.

Light red color with a small beige head. Aroma of piney hops and sweet malt. Flavor of citrus/piney hops and sweet candy malts.
