Nephilium (541), Ohio, USA Oct 28, 2009 Mild hoppy aroma, just a bit of pine in the background. Pours a clear amber, with just a dusting of head on top. Nice crisp hop flavor, but not much hop punch. More of a UK IPA then an American IPA. Still quite tasty, and very drinkable. kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 14, 2009 On tap, Nice well hopped ale with mostly dry hops. golden color and not much head. Not enough florals for my taste. mattmc1973 (300), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Oct 3, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Color is deep clear gold with thin white head. Aroma is nutty, toasted malt, caramel, and mild hops. Taste is light floral and citrus, with a hop bite and light caramel malt. Crisp carbonation, medium bodied. Just OK. bluto1978 (12), Michigan, USA Sep 28, 2009 not bad, but I would rather drive 20 minutes down the road and go get a two hearted from bells. They could take come lessons from them on making a good ipa keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Sep 19, 2009 I seemed to enjoy this one more than most of my peers. Nice clear amber with a small head that laced the glass. Aroma of caramel and fruit. Not as kick ass with the hops in the taste which I guess lowered the ratings. Malty sweet with just a bit of bitterness. Nice clean finish. I liked it. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2009 BPW #28
Served on tap at Arcadia Brewing Company. Appearance is a crisp golden with a thin white head. Aromas are mild pine flavors with a sweet edge. Mouth is very mild with hop bitterness. An eastern IPA to say the least but okay none the less.
awiseman01 (318), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Sep 11, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #31 of 90. Tap at Arcadia, shared taster (hands down best taster offering I’ve ever had...a total of 9-3oz pours for $7.99). Pours a nice clear golden/orange. Excellent citrus hop component. This was a very nice IPA style. Try it if you’re there. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Sep 8, 2009 Pours a bright partly cloudy orange colour with a small white head. Decent lacing. Noticeably biscuity with soft well integrated hop character. Aroma is nutty, semi sweet with caramel undertones. A good fall IPA.
