Pours a hazy amber orange with a massive size chunky head that does not go down. Nose is floral and has hints of orange, lemon, grapefruit, caramel and sourness. Taste is mostly sour orange/lemon...i think this beer is turning bad, The massive head was the first giveaway, the sour taste is the second. It is about halfway to being a drainpour.... Smelled of citris and soap. Tastes about the same. Some hops too. Not very good at all. tamedturtle (10), Cranberry Twp, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Bottle: Cloudy particle rich copper with an overcarbonated pour, lots of head and huge sculture like lacing. The nose is woody and acidic with some funky yeast and hop blend . Like fermented orange or something. The flavor is not as bad though with a light bitter note, some sweetness, that wash away that bad smell and initial taste. Finishes musky and coffeeish with some astringency and weird oils in the tail. A bit off kilter, but not bad for an IPA. Thanks to whom sent this to me. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

It seemed like they forgot to put any late hop additions in to this. Had a little flowery aroma but thats it. Had a little hop flavor and sweetness but overall this was pretty crappy. I cant believe i bot a sixer of this. I realized why i usually buy singles of stuff i have never had. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2006 Yeasty, spicey, fruity aroma a la saison, apricot, pours a large off-white head. Flavour is zesty wheat, spices. Really refreshing, again saison-like. Very good, but it doesn’t seem an IPA! Thank You mds. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2006 Lovely pillowy head on this copper colored ale, with aromas of vanilla, honey, and hay. Hoppy flavor seems a little bit off...floral and spicy, but somewhat strange to drink, like the hops are spoiled, or too old, or just slightly shitty. Pales in comparison to others, but decent.
