Commercial Description:
Columbus dry-hops added directly to the open fermenter uniquely characterize our IPA with an intensely robust pure-like floral aroma and resinous hop flavor. A pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied, lightly caramel and toasted malt character with a nutty finish.

12 oz bottle: poured orange with a big off white head. Big citrusy hop aroma with a little pine. Flavor is all hops. It tasted very fresh. Big citrusy grapefruit and pine notes. Good beer. Just how I like my IPA’s.

From bottle

Poured cloudy deep, golden color. Sedimet present in the beer. Bubbly almost non-existant white head, very present around the edges. Aroma of orange peels, grass, and caramel. Flavor earthy, grassy notes present, nice hop bite in the beginning. Odd flavor in the aftertaste...very earthy, grass, "pot" like flavors. The hop bitterness mellowed out in the end. Carbonation was heavy. Medium bodied. Bubbly mouthfeel.

Guest tap @ the Smokehouse. Been wanting to try this beer since my girl bought me a gift set of pint glasses, and this brew is featured on one glass in the set. Pleasant nose of orange and apricot. Some brown sugar and spice bleeds through. Pours clear orange copper. The creamy frothy white head is mostly diminishing with light lace. The very toasty flavor has a solid malt presence, much more than any IPA I’ve sampled in recent memory. That makes for great balance, but compromises the character somewhat. Kinda light for the style. The medium soft creamy palate feels alcoholic @ the finish.

Thick gold body with a tight lacing albino head. Fantastically shocking hop nose that is loaded with orange, cream, and fudge. This one is a gem. Sweet and rich flavor that makes my taste buds dance. Great chewy citrus hop flavor matched with a malt sweetness that is like a warm sugar daddy. Lingering hop taste that is mostly citrus with a touch of pine. A damn fine IPA. On tap at the brewpub. Light orange with a medium white head. Standard IPA with citrus and pine all balanced by caramel malts. Alright.

Pours to a hazy golden body with a large bubbly light khaki head. The aroma is oranges and caramel malts. Citrus. The flavor is lightly hoppy oranges and toasty caramel malts. Pretty balanced. The palate is creamy and medium bodied. Nearly chewy.

Pours an oranged yellow straw, with a gushing overflowing head of plantain. Aroma of sticky, floral and planty hops, with some gentle and unremarkable sweetness. Flavor is a stingy, soapy sweet hops, with some lime rind and grapefruit juice biting my gums. There’s a light creamy husk of grain tooth and vague nuttiness. Finish with a touch of harshness, like laundry detergent. Some sweetness and italian flat leaf parsely. Strangely drinkable.
