| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2005 A decent IPA. Lots of hops in the aroma and flavour. Tends to be a bit on the piney side of the hop spectrum, not my favorite. Malts, though overpowered by hops, are nice and even a little toasted in flavour, I wish they played a larger role in the mix. For $7 a 6pack, I’ll take some more! barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

Ok beer, but with American versions I sometimes have a hard time picking out the style nuances from amidst the overwhelming, slightly harsh Pacific hops. SkyinBrian (429), Collinsville, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Rich copper color. Ruby red grapefruit, pine and papaya hop aroma, oily and pure. Oily texture with a lightly silky feel. Extreme bitterness, which is a bit rough beginning to end. Lightly toasted malts underneath mildly herbaceous, somewhat medicinal, but juicy and lingering hops. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Pours copper - mahogany in color with small white head. Sweet malty aroma with little to no dry hop character. Lots of caramel in the malt with decent pine hop bite in the aftertaste. Bottle I have may be a little old; as it has some very slight vanilla or butterscotch. Overall, a pretty good IPA.
