Fresh floral meadow aromas with some slight malt notes too. Flavour was minimal hops and slightly sweet - not very bold. Finished quickly with some very mild bitter notes and a pretty basic thin mouthfeel. Nothing terrible and nothing special. Hopefully it didn’t suffer from following the Smuttynose which I really liked. radiomgb (1985), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of floral hops, some light citrus and pine, malty and slightly sweet. Flavour was slightly sweet, floral hops some malt (bread and some dough). Light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a short bitterness. Uneventful. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

Strong citrus/floral aroma, also notes of bready malt and sweet caramel. Balanced body with a nice, bitter finish. This is a solid IPA IMO - another great beer from another great MI brewery. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2005 Pours a medium amber with white foamy head that leaves a nice little foam island in the middle of your glass. Head resin covers the glass at completion. Smells somewhat hoppy and citrusy. A good but not great brew. tbarnette (105), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2005 not sure if it’s unfiltered or not, hazy, orangy amber, citrusy nose, with caramel malt in the background. light head that gives way to an island of foam on top; little or no lace, good carbonation, good mouth and great flavor, largely grapefruit, very fresh American hop that doesn’t linger too long. A fun beer. I think it’s a better pale ale than IPA. Got this in a beer of the month club although they do have some Arcadia beers at Bodega downtown here in La Crosse; not sure if they have this one. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 2, 2005 Opaque hefe body with an annoyingly HUGE, stubborn head. Sugar cookie malt with orange citrus. Over-fizzy palate with the same malt and grapefruit rind hops. Terrible palate, it totally masks whatever flavors were in this beer. GTown (126), New York, USA
