Commercial Description:
Columbus dry-hops added directly to the open fermenter uniquely characterize our IPA with an intensely robust pure-like floral aroma and resinous hop flavor. A pronounced hop bitterness is balanced by a medium-bodied, lightly caramel and toasted malt character with a nutty finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber, almost brown, with a thin head. Very strong hoppy, citrus and pine aroma. Taste is fairly astringent and follows the aroma, with hops and pine predominant with some citrus as well. Mouth feel is medium and dry. Bitterness is very much there but not overpowering. I need to drink more IPA’s to get a better sense for the style.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: good clean amber gold with larger than average creamy crown. 3+
Nose: soft aromatic American IPA , citric , floral hops , sweet malt as base …
Flavor/Palate : sift sweet sided with strawberry fell on top hop hints , drinkable , clean ale. Missing bit punch for IPA. Still nice brew to have.

Copper-orange, cloudy, with frothy white head, and decent lacing. Citrus, grapefruit, and caramel aroma notes. Grapefruit, grass, alcohol flavour notes. Tart with lasting bitterness.

Compliments of Steve-O, again. Poured from 12 oz bottle an orange, light coppery hue, aroma of faint hops, ocean water and malted goodness. Flaour is a malty character with a light hop ending, clean tasting. Yep, its more an English type IPA, but its very drinkable, would love to see it more hopped up, perhaps casked. Overall decent beer.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly’s, 11/13/09

Aroma: Had me worried at first because it had basically no aroma at all ice cold, as it warms, out comes some aroma, mostly grassy hops and a bit of citrus hops with some light toffee and caramel in there as well
Appearance: A cloudy dark orange color with a couple of inches of milky white head and some drippy lace on the glass
Flavor: Taste is similar to the nose, a nice balanced brew, hop presence up-front with a nice malt backing
Palate: This one has a medium body, and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel that works pretty well, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I have to say, despite the nice appearance, from my first impression I wasn’t expecting much from this one because of lack of nose, but once it warmed for just a few minutes it really became quite solid. In fact, after completing the full glass I actually had a much nicer impression. This is a pretty good brew.

A great hybrid of English and American styles of IPA, pours amber with an off white head that slowly gives way leaving nice lacing all the way down the glass. Robust malted flavours of toffee, brown sugar and toasted granola. Sweetgrass, grapefruit and light bit of a resiny hops give a complex nose and well rounded taste. Body is rich with light carbonation and juicy orange finish.

Mild hoppy aroma, just a bit of pine in the background. Pours a clear amber, with just a dusting of head on top. Nice crisp hop flavor, but not much hop punch. More of a UK IPA then an American IPA. Still quite tasty, and very drinkable.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Color is deep clear gold with thin white head. Aroma is nutty, toasted malt, caramel, and mild hops. Taste is light floral and citrus, with a hop bite and light caramel malt. Crisp carbonation, medium bodied. Just OK.
