| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Updated: Oct 20, 200712 oz bottle - pours a beautiful cloudy fox-fur hue with a one-finger off-white head that settles to a thin layer but leaves nice lace. Aroma of the three spices listed in the description, with nutmeg being the most prominent, as well as a good deal of C-hop aroma underneath. Nice. Sweet and biscuity right off the bat, very quickly followed by an influx of spice that trails out slowly into a nice sweetness and a touch of alcohol heat. Medium bodied, and not much finish. The second pumpkin ale I’ve had, and I’m beginning to realize that I like the style very much and that it is the perfect beer for the autumn. Pumpkin pie in a glass. beerbill (1951), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2007 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with MrRain. Pours a slightly hazy rust color with llots of large carbonation bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. Thin sudsy head that completely disappeared before I took my first sip. Light vegetable aroma along with some cinnamon. The flavor is a little bit of malt, some light vegetable flavors, and more dominantly, cinnamon and nutmeg. The cinnamon and nutmeg linger and bring on a dry finish. MrBunn (1533), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Bottle. Dingy and amber color with some ugly carbonation hanging on the side of the glass. Head is small and fizzy. Aromas are of mulled cider and a little bit of pumpkin. Flavor: Yowch! Flavor is like a pumpkin ale at first and then gives way to a sour pucker that is reminsicent of Jolly Pumpkin products. Interesting and very different from your average pumpkin ale, but comes off kind of watery from time to time.
