Commercial Description:
Jaw-Jacker balances our finest malted barley with a bit-o-wheat and is complimented with a citrus hop kick and just the right amount of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice for a nice marriage of pumpkin pie and beer. Made in the fall to celebrate the changing of the season.

10.24.07 bottle. Fairly good pumpkin beer. Not overwhelming pumpkin taste but a little pumpie pie flavor. Works for me, don’t expect all too much here.

Bottle at The Coney. Mild spice aroma. Cinnamon, allspice, and whatever else goes into pumpkin pie. Light sugary sweetness with a bit of nutty character. Medium dark amber clear with thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with brown sugar and malt. Pumpkin pie spices. Neutral fruit with nutty finish. Mild hoppy and nutty after. A decent pumpkin beer.

Orange amber with a white head that dissipates to a remianing thin layer. Aroma of cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg, clove and caramel malt. Spicy pumpkiny taste married to decent malty amber ale. Medium to thin body. Spicy dry finish that gets a little sickening after a few.

12 oz. bottle from Styles, thanks! pours a not quite clear orangey amber with a smallish white head, fading to a ring of lace. aroma and flavor is pumpkin, spice and everything nice. well, some nutmeg & cinnamon too. not always a fan of the spiced beers, but I’m always up for a pumpkin brew and this is pretty good. enjoyable and worth a try.

12 oz bottle - pours a beautiful cloudy fox-fur hue with a one-finger off-white head that settles to a thin layer but leaves nice lace. Aroma of the three spices listed in the description, with nutmeg being the most prominent, as well as a good deal of C-hop aroma underneath. Nice. Sweet and biscuity right off the bat, very quickly followed by an influx of spice that trails out slowly into a nice sweetness and a touch of alcohol heat. Medium bodied, and not much finish. The second pumpkin ale I’ve had, and I’m beginning to realize that I like the style very much and that it is the perfect beer for the autumn. Pumpkin pie in a glass.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with MrRain. Pours a slightly hazy rust color with llots of large carbonation bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. Thin sudsy head that completely disappeared before I took my first sip. Light vegetable aroma along with some cinnamon. The flavor is a little bit of malt, some light vegetable flavors, and more dominantly, cinnamon and nutmeg. The cinnamon and nutmeg linger and bring on a dry finish.

Bottle. Dingy and amber color with some ugly carbonation hanging on the side of the glass. Head is small and fizzy. Aromas are of mulled cider and a little bit of pumpkin. Flavor: Yowch! Flavor is like a pumpkin ale at first and then gives way to a sour pucker that is reminsicent of Jolly Pumpkin products. Interesting and very different from your average pumpkin ale, but comes off kind of watery from time to time.
