| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy, deeper orange colored body with a thin, white head that leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet with a blend of soft spices and an acidic tartness. Clove and cinnamon stick out the most of the spices. Light caramels. Flavor is a moderately sweet, dry caramels and various spices that give this a distinct autumn taste. I can see myself watching the leaves change colors while drinking this. Very season-appropriate. A bit of an earthy bitterness dries this out and it finishes with just a touch of acidic citrus and opens up a light doughy taste. Light to medium bodied. Overall, a tasty spiced beer. The spices don’t overpower, but stay rather even keel while being distinct at the same time. I like the light citrus and earth too. Good balance and very enjoyable.
