Commercial Description:
Our Nut Brown Ale is a full bodied English-style brown ale with a deep mahogany color. We use six different types of premium malted barley to create a flavor that includes hints of chocolate, raisins, dates and almonds. The malty sweet finish is balanced by a smooth bitterness and a subtle fruitiness in flavor and hop aroma.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark rich brown color. Aroma is that of yeast, some hops, and roasted malts. Flavor is pretty creamy, with coffee, nuts, and roasted malts taking the forefront to the flavors of the beer. Not bad, though nothing special. A good beer to drink - but not really to savor.

Pours a rich chocolatey brown, large, foamy head. Aroma is yeasty, sharp, acidic hops, and alcohol. Flavor is initially very vegetable-like (carrots, onions), turning to nuttiness, and then chocolate, back to nuttiness, and ending grassy.

Pours a drab-like brown, with a thin tan head. The nose is a somewhat sweet chocolate nut. Quite bubbly in the mouth, This beer has a coffee, nut, hops, and roasted malt taste.

From a 12 oz. bottle with a notched bottling/freshness date along the right side of label, sampled at cellar temperature in a pint glass. Poured a cloudy reddish brown with foamy, creamy off-white/pale tan head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing. Had a fruity and nutty nose, raisins, fresh dates and roasted almonds, with a light backing of chocolate malts. Good medium carbonation and a crisp, dry, chewy, creamy smooth medium-light bodied mouthfeel. A pleasant nut brown taste, a tasty fruitiness, dates and berries, roasted almond nuts, grainy and lightly roasted chocolate malts, subtle citric hops, the alcohol is barely noticeable, and a big dry nutty, grainy and chocolate malty finish. Another good English style beer from Arcadia, easy drinkability, a good nut brown ale.

Bottle. Not a terrible brown ale at all - not my favorite style though. Sweet, caramel malts with definite fruity sweetness near the finish. Sweet all the way through with a notable lack of balance. Better than Newcastle, thats for sure. If I’d had another one I would have drank it.

Beautiful brown body with red hints. Roasted malt aroma with hints of dates and doughiness. Sweet, roasted malt that fades to a wierd alc finish, but not to overwhelming. Body is light to medium with little carbonation. A pretty solid nut brown.

Poured a darker brown color. Aroma was some malt, a little caramel. Flavor was that with a little hop to it. A little thin.

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours bronze with a decent tan head. Aroma of caramel malts, nuts, and toast. The flavor is sweet, caramel, nuts, with a thin bodied.
