Sep 7, 2009 Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a gold with white fizzy head. Aroma doesn’t have much here, just a little faint citrus. Flavor of a little malt, light citrus, a nasty hop bitter. Mouth feel is medium body with medium-high carbonation. Overall, eeeeeegh....not sure why the rating is currently at 87.....

Sep 6, 2009 22oz. bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a hazy gold with a thin white head that quickly dissipated. Some citrusy hops and a little rye spice in the aroma. Also some sweet malt. Pretty good amount of hop bitterness upfront. Not a lot of malt there, I found it a little thin. Drying finish from the hops. Not bad, but nothing special.

Sep 4, 2009 Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Clear light golden pour. Frothy head. A bit of a musty smell. Aged hops also add to the mix. Softer taste upfront with a very dry finish. Bitter hops are left for the drinker to ponder.

Aug 4, 2009 Bomber pours golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is piney hop, and malt. Flavor is well balanced between the piney hop and the malty sweetness. Neither takes the bull by the horns so to speak. Fairly middle of the road. I must say not much of a rye character.

Jul 28, 2009 Bomber from the Binny’s in Willowbrook, IL: This poured a clear golden amber body with a hefty off-white head and provided plenty of lace. The aroma was peppery and spicey with floral and pine notes, all overlaying a light toffee/caramel sweetness. That pretty well describes the flavor, except that the spiciness translated into a steady bitterness throughout the drinking. Dry finish. A dandy brew, created in honor of Sky Dive Inc. in Hastings, Michigan, whose members are undoubtedly enjoying this beer... after the day’s jumping is done.
