Rich roasted malt, chocolate raisin mix. A little thin and uneventful, but still enjoyable.

Bottle from Fort Wayne, IN. Poured black with a large cream light brown head that lasted the majority of brew. Good toasted malt and coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture. Moderate stout flavor with an average finish. Finish was not as strong as the start.

bottle-pours 95% black with a foamy tan head that was huge at the pour, which suggests this bottle is old. big roasty aroma with notes of anise, coca and lightly oxidized burnt notes. the flavors show the oxidization moreso than the aromas. I will definately have to re-rate this one!

Pours thick black, totaly opaque , no light through it. All under a creamy brown head. Strong roasted malt. Very robust malt, roast and coffed in the aroma. Malts are most present in the form of roasted and coffee malts. A little sweetness comes underneath the strong malts, but that sweetness is then replaced with the malty goodness. I like this beer a bit.

Pitch black with a light-bodied fizzy head. Bit of a watery consistency. Light roasty base, but an odd sourness substitutes for bitterness, with an almost orangey finish that bites at the end.

Bottled. Pours a dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, with notes of bread. Taste is dark roasted malts, slightly sour, with a long roasted aftertaste.

Very dark pour with beige/tan head. Nose big on roast, caramel, malts, and chocolate. Very sweet on the tongue, with the roast staying steady as well as a hint of coffee, and light hop hiding out as well. Was a little sour too, which wasnt all that bad.

Quite sweet nose, some roastyness. Jet black body, small tan head. Roasty flavor, some sourness.
