Cask-conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol 13/02/09. Pale gold with a decent white head that left a layer of foam down the glass. Sweet malts in the aroma and flavour with a slightly redeeming bitter finish. A bit disappointing.

George V, Brompton Valentine’s Day piss up in the George. Pale beer. Initial hint of sweetness finishes fairly dry. OK, but lacking in character. Typical Archers.
