From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished off-white head. Vague aroma of mild fruity hops and a bit of malt. Flavour is light acidic to citric hops flavour with a mild malt base and a minor metallic note. Light bitterness and mild fruity note into the finish.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of flowers, toffee, and bisquits. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of toffee and bisquits as well as lighter notes of citrus. The body is thin.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marylebone, London, 26 April 2008) Dark amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with notes of biscuity malt and dusty hops in the fairly short finish. A decent bitter, but pretty boring to be honest.
