Clear golden coloured with a small white head.
Malty and fruity aroma of hops and pine needles.
Malty and fruity flavour of liquorice, flowers and hops.
Hoppy finish. MiP (6019), Flensburg, Germany Jul 17, 2008 Cask. Flowery fruity aroma. Clear amber colour. OK frothy white head. Quite distinct alcohol feel. Vinous flavour. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 21, 2005 Cask@The Red Lion, Isleworth, London. Quite nice, pleasant cask ale. The name ’Crystal Clear’ led me to believe this was going to be a lagery bland sort of ale, but it was much better than that. Some nice lightly sweet honeyed malts. Some light floral, citrusy hops. Dries out a touch towards the end. Quite pleasant and innofensive.
