ratman197 (2174), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 2, 2008 Can poured a clear brown with a disapating amber head. Aromas of carmel, cocoa, brown sugar and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, cocoa, ligfht fruittiness and a hint of spice with a smooth malty finish. BritAlesRule (54), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA May 3, 2008 Winning floral and caramel malt aroma, appearance of dark apple cider. Subdued NW hop profile and more malt on the tongue. Light carbonation but good bite, enough for me anyway. Not really my favorite style, but a good balance here. RSRIZZO (945), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 15, 2007 Had this beer at the All Colorado Beer Fest on 11/10/2007. Aroma is light with some roasted malt tones. Color is a light hazy brown with ok carbonation and a thin yet tight head. Taste is a wine like malt flavor on a thin body, this is backed by a mild hop flavor and fair bitterness. Its an ok beer. BeerandBlues2 (2379), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 11, 2007 Draught at All Colorado Beer Festival. Pours clear amber with a small, rocky, off-white head, diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, toasted grain, roasted grain), average hops (perfume, pine), light yeast (dough) with notes of apple. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness. BDR (1850), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jun 2, 2007 On tap at the Arctic Craft Brewery. Amber color with faint white head. Malty nose with a sweet malt body.
