armando629 (434), Budapest, Hungary Jun 25, 2008 Golden color, small white head. Aroma of pale malt, some fruity perfume, minimal hop and yeast. Light body with flavours of malt, yeast, minimal hop. Easy beer without big impressions.
heavy (503), Split, Croatia Aug 23, 2008 0.5 l can Doggythedog shared with me, so huge thanks for the new beer country! Poured golden body with bigger head. Dusty and corny aroma, even with some notes of malt; nothing special but fine. Flavor is bad, too malty with some weird bitter, mutant hop notes. Thin bodied with medium carbonation still gives short finish which is boring and pretty unpleasantly bitter. Looks like it’s not well done, as it had some potential. Seems like it doesn’t matter is beer from Romania and Bulgaria, it’s still same style of crap. Doggythedog (1020), Split, Croatia Aug 23, 2008 0.5l can courtesy of a friend who lugged it halfway through the Balkans from Bulgaria (huge thanks, Krešimir!) Yay, my first Bulgarian beer. After three crappy Romanian beers, this was bound to be better. Or was it. Gilded yellow colour, medium-big head. Light dusty hoppy nose with some light malt. Hmm.... corn maybe too. Better, yeah. And then I tasted it. Grain mixing with bad glue/sulphur. Bitterish. Light, ok lemony taste... guess that’s the hop and it’s a bit stale. Some apple. Ok graininess in the base but ruined by that odd off taste. Why? charlotte (1287), Vanløse, Denmark Jun 14, 2008 Straw yellow colour with white fluffy head who stays long.Aroma is light of appel and malt soft with light and refreshing finish better then many other Lagers in Bulgaria. gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 11, 2008 Can. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop. Flavour has the same elements. Thin boring beer.
