Malty, yeasty aroma with some red fruit and a Wadworth’s like hint of peardrops. Flavour was sweetish, with some caramel, muted woodiness and a slightly spicy, bitter finish. Ok. Very malty and smells a bit like wee. Unpleasant, to be kind. So regular amber coloured with OK lacing but acidic-looking head. Tastes better than it looks, but still not great. Tastes of malt and very strongly of corn. Really not very nice. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

An amber coloured bitter with some fruitiness. Slightly bitter with plenty of hops in a lasting finish. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
