Feb 8, 2008 Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised, from Queensway Co-Op, Bnbury. Copper colour with the faintest of white heads. Largely flatish with little impact and quite thin, some roasted malt notes and a little bitterness, but very bland. Disappointing,

Oct 13, 2007 Bottle, 500ml. Copper colour with a small head. A floral aroma with some light fruit. Aroma is muted with pasteurised notes - rather like a Greene King brew. Taste is fairly malty with cocoa notes and floral hops with caramel. A fair amount of bitterness in the finish. Not actually too bad, but not particularly unique.

Mar 5, 2007 Golden brown and comes in a clear bottle. No carbonation and slightly malty.Smooth and non threatening. The bottle says that it is a strong special ale.
