Mar 30, 2009 Bottle that I picked up at Tesco? Aylesbury recently, consumed 29-03-09 Pours amber with a white head. Fruity with some bitterness, there are some toffee flavours swirling around, sweet maltiness and the finish is a little dry and bitter. Its ok but nothing I would particularly feel should be worthy of a revisit. A6 A3 F5 P3 OV12 2.9

Dec 12, 2007 Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised. From Queensway Co-Op, Banbury. Red amber with white head. Soft, full bitter, mid roasted malts with a touch of biscuity sweetness and a soft fruitiness then a dry bitter hoppy finish. Pretty decent.

Jan 23, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Nutty aroma. Medium body with a dry malt base and some nutty accents. A light fruitiness. The finish is dry and fairly bitter. Quite OK. 230107

Mar 2, 2006 Amber colour with a slim white head. Fruity and malty aroma with that slightly stale pasteurised smell you often get. Taste is malty and sharp with a bitter finish. Thin bodied and a bit watery. Not very good, although not offensive.
