(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Copper colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried apricots, grainy malt and dusty hops in the finish. Medium body. Rather boring but drinkable.

Cask at Wetherspoons (The Regal), Cambridge. Slow to clear, amber in colour. Very sweet fruit scent. Slightly carbonated. Thin and very sweet start then very bitter. Grapefruit, chlorine and malted milk biscuits with a metallic end. Very odd. Not a fan.

Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Gold with a good white head. Drinkable with good smooth body but lacking in characture especially in the hop department.

Cask in the alfread herring. Alround rating: Sulphury mineral character, green apple yeastyness, toffee malt character, lots of eggyness topwards the end. Not good.

Cask, JDW, Carlisle. Way too dry and papery, with a lot of bitterness. Average coliur, flavour and taste - became very sugary towards the end.
