Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised, Seasonal, Winter;
Currently our strongest brew, Noël Ale is named after Sir Noël Arkell, who was born on Christmas Day and is the late father of current chairman, Peter Arkell. The golden colour of our 'winter warmer', which is available only in December, disguises its full malty and hoppy flavour.

Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml from Queensway Co-Op, Banbury. Copper brown with white head. Rich and smooth bottled beer, surprisingly full and porty for a pasteurised beer, almost as if it had secondary fermented. Some spiciness with a malty toffee background. Pretty reasonable.

Bottle from The Beers of Europe shop near Kings Lynn, not bottle conditioned. Mid Brown in colour. No strong flavours but a rather artificial taste. Hints of Maltyness Quite dissapointing
