Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

bottle. poured a deep amber with a beige head and left some lacing. aroma of caramel, pine, fruity pixie stick dust, and dark fruits. flavor is pine resin, alcohol, caramel, and dark fruits. med-full body and medium carbonation. i have waited awhile before trying this one and i have to say i was a bit disappointed. maybe the wait built it up to much, i dont know.

not too bitter, not too sweet. just a great beer. kind of a girly beer compared to the double bastard though.

Bottle 22oz .A deep dark amber color with a big thick off white head that leaves tuns of lacing as it slowly diminishes, some light carbonation. Aroma is piny, citrusy, and earthy, with some notes of the sweet malt waiting to be tasted. Flavors of caramel malts, toffee, pine, cherries, smoke ,hints of maybe burbon or oaky vanilla, very deep and complex like and old ale. A medium to full body, velvety mouthfeel, hoppy aftertaste and burps, a little sticky around the lips (something to lick off later), damn this is good shit ! and yes I would drink this all night long or at least untill the 3rd or 4th time I fell down eh.

Pours a medium to dark brown with a large tan head consisting of both large and small bubbles. There is a strong aroma of malt, hops and molasses. There may also be hints of citrus hidden in the aroma. This beer is hoppy enough to be an IPA, but it has more malt and molasses than you will find in any IPA I’ve tried. This beer is very clean feeling in the mouth, but definitely leaves a bit of a bitter taste around the back sides of the tongue. This is a solid beer.

Good beer, chinook hops are a crowd pleaser. After this one, me thinks a chinook IPA are in order.

Amber brown hue with copious head of white. Aromas of citrus and malt. Full body. Bold aggressive hops with some good sweet malt. Good long finish. This is all about the hops and bitterness of course. What can ya say about a classic.
