tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Oct 20, 2009 Bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Brown color, nice tan head. Aroma is sweet malty and very hoppy. Flavor is fruity and floral hops, sweet malt. Very much bitterness and very dry finish. NayTron (31), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Oct 18, 2009 I like this. The malt and hops balance is very good. Flavor is full bodied and smooth. I need more. WLG423 (43), Connecticut, USA Oct 16, 2009 An incredibly full bodied brew, a nice malt character of set by a powerful hop flavor. A long bitter finish. mcc5468 (102), USA Oct 16, 2009 From a bottle. dark amber color. Earthy and fruity in taste also sweet. Nice bite. A good sipping beer, would not want more than a couple in a session. BobbyAnalog (19), California, USA Oct 15, 2009 A forceful, decadant cavalcade of hops and unabridged bitterness. This ale is removed of any spices or sweetness, and contains a boastful, toasty bite. Arrogant Bastard blooms with extreme simplicity and a double-barreled knock back taste. NCBeerBoy (12), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Oct 13, 2009 A nice toasted malt flavor yields quickly to an aggressive hop finish. Very njoyable for those who are hop heads. This beer is definatly Arrogant!
ruyehara88 (7), Williamsburg, Virginia, USA does not count Oct 12, 2009 Floral and pine on aroma. Pours a bit thick. Pretty hefty, frothy head. Deep orange/red color. Taste is quite something- complex, raisins, a bit of chocolate(?)(or am I confusing it with something else?) spicy. Aftertaste lingers and is of bitterness. phildorsey (42), Fort Lewis, Washington, USA Oct 9, 2009 1 pint 6 oz. Bottle. Pours ruby and lightly cloudy; head is off-white and very long lasting. Aroma: Fruits and yeast dominate the nostrils. Extreamely fizzy and moderately bitter, but the finish is slick and somewhat alcoholic. The flavor tingles through the swallow; a mixture of fruits and hops persuade me to take another taste. Excellant Beer...
