Smells grapefruit, pine...tastes the same. Very good ! It has a long lasting grapefruit aftertaste. The bottle is wrong, I do like it!

This is my first rating so I wanted to rate my favorite beer, first. Poured into glass from tap, an aggressive ale that will ruin the rest of your beers, making them all seem watery and boring.RESPECT.

Draft. Deep deep red brown with a thin white head that leave nice lacing. Nose is very malty and sweet. Taste is very malty with a solid hop background that leads to a bit of spice tone. Bitter finish. Good beer!!

Appearance: red, brown, hazy, a minimal head, tan foam Aroma: well blended malt and hops but only mild in strength; roasty, chocolate, coffee, spruce; slight preference to malt aromas Flavor: Very good presentation of an overall enjoyable beer. More of a hop presence on the tongue than on the nose. Nice balance. Palate: Medium to full body; great silky texture; surprisingly long bitter finish.

Arrogant bastard is a good dependable ale. It always pours with a nice fluffy head on top of its slightly cloudy golden amber color. Good aroma of caramel/biscuit dough mixed with the strong piney hops. Well-balanced flavor, not too bitter. Good smooth maltiness up front is followed by the bitter hops. The bitterness does stick a bit to the palate, which isn’t a bad thing in this ale. Not overly bitter and easy to drink, if you don’t mind the high alcohol content in this brew. Definitely worth trying at least once.

This beer is big hops all the way and can be overwhelming at first. It took me quite a few bottles over different occasions to finally settle in and appreciate this one. Cloudy pour with citrus and, of course, hoppy aroma. Tastes like it smells, with a long lingering hoppiness.

16oz draft poured at Rams Head was deep copper color with a slight white head. Grassy, herbal hop aroma. Nice bitterness but not too overwhelming. Bit of caramel, toffee, sweetness, and some bread in teh body. Medium mouthfeel.

Deep reddish brown, big hoppiness, very aggressive with earthy feel all around, will kick you in the teeth!
