Arrogant Bastard Ale

Dark red color, thick foamy long lasting white head with very nice lacing. The alcohol is very present in both the aroma and flavor. Hoppy aroma with some nice citrus notes. Thick mouthfeel, malty hoppy flavor, notes of caramel and a nice smooth finish.

650ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber body with a fine tan head. Aroma is citric, grapefruit, pine and some caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet malt delicately balanced with a fair amount of fruity hops. Its refreshing, its tasty, its nice – love it.

Light brown pour with notes of toasted hops and some deep sweet nptes (malt). The finish was long and showed the 7% alc...finish.

It poured a hazy golden-brown liquid with a small foam that left no lacing. It had a smell of caramell and warm alcohol. Tasted of caramell, hops with an warm alcoholic finnish. Medium-high bitterness. A very nice beer but the oak aged version is better.

Had two pints at the Falling Rock Tap House in downtown Denver. Reminded me of another ale that I have really enjoyed but I can’t remember which one (Bell’s Hopslam?). I’m not into paying big money for single bottles of beer but if you are this would certainly be worth trying.

Everything an ale should be with an interesting citrus note on the finish. The alcohol comes through a tad to strong for my taste otherwise a great brew.

From a bomber into a pint glass. Pours a dark red/brown with a ton of thick head which never totally disappears. Smell is of hops. Taste is of hops, alcohol, cherry with minimal, but present malt. Very satisfying ale. A little too much alcohol burn but that subsides with time. Would drink again.

This beer pours a beautiful deep amber with a thick foamy head. It leaves incredibly great lacing on the glass as you drink it. You can small the malt and raisin or prunish odors in here. A very good beer. I was surprised, I thought it was going to be too strong, but I’d definitely drink it regularly if I could buy it by me.
