Commercial Description:
This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Dark ruby-amber colour with a foamy white head. Aroma is remarkably hoppy - I was afraid to inhale too deeply lest the fumes burn out my nose hairs. The flavour is big and bitter, with some great coffee & chicory notes to balance the citric hop explosion. Long and lingering grapefruit finish. While it wasn’t quite the life-changing experience I’d been led to believe it might be, it’s still a damn fine beverage.

Another Imperial IPA by Stone. A good overall beer, but simply too much for a standard beer. Good colour and great hoppy nose, as usual...but simply too much to process.

A nice looking ale in the glass. Dark red almost black. Offwhite head. Vanilla aroma comes out a bit in the hops. The hop smell is to die for. Tastes a little of citrus and pine but mostly just good strong beautiful ale. My family enjoyed the bottle almost as much as I enjoyed the brew. I love this ale. Fantastic!

Re-rate: Murky deep orange color, with a nice sized tan head. Huge pine aroma, starts and ends very bitter. Very aggressive and tasty. Old rating: 22 OZ bottle: A sweet cascade smell that is enchanting. Nice bitter, malty taste, yet very smooth. If you think that Molson is good beer, you aren’t worthy.

This brewery has a unique marketing approach, definitely read the bottle as you drink this one. This beer for all of the hype is quite balanced between the hops and the malt. Definitely hop flavor, aroma and bitterness crawling all over the place in this one, but a nice strong maltiness & sweetness that carries the hop brigade quite well. This is a great beer that is a nice amber color.

I appreciate good beer. I’ve had over 500 different kinds since I became a SERIOUS beer drinker. However, this concoction is just a bit too over the top for me. The label warns of its "aggressiveness," and touts that anyone who is not a REAL beer drinker "probably won’t like it," thereby, subliminally at least, making everyone like it for fear of being called a wimp. Well, I can tell you with certainty that I am no wimp, and I have had much better beer than this. The taste is not what bothers me; rather, it’s the pungent aftertaste that reminds me of Robitussin that appalls me. I had to eat an apple while drinking this thing to keep from vomiting (and remember, I have had Buffalo Butt), so that should tell you something. (And after paying almost 5 bucks for a pint and a half, you’re damn straight I was finishing it.) So, go on and tout your love of this potion; I will go on enjoying my more mellow blends that have less to prove in terms of how "manly" they are. Rotten vegetables, and putrid fruit dominate the flavor. That’s all.

Amber Coloring. No Head. Like the Ruination, Starts off Very Hopy on The Nose and Palate. Some Spice in This one As Well. More in The Glass Then I was Able to Pull Out. Would Be Worth Trying Again. But Very Good Overall!

Dark copper color. Off white, khaki head. Dominate malt aroma. caramel and a slight citrus zest finish in the aroma. very bitter, leather, alcohol, raisin, toast, Bitter from the first sip. pine, citrus, The texture of this brew is complex. Thick, creamy, chewy, yet very refreshing. Hop monster bitterness in the finish. Very bitter beer not for beginners. Good more for me! Arrogance is Bliss
